The 1996 Undisputed Attitude Tour brought in audiences that were often split between thrash metal and classic punk fans. Despite this potential for clashes, the crowds were united in the pit. One fan remembers the Irving Plaza show as "quite possibly the most chaotic and brutal I have ever seen or been in, but people were amazing to each other and everybody had a phenomenal time." Another remembers that "there was virtually no place to hide...the pit was everywhere, the songs were insane, and I loved every minute of it."
